North Atlantic Oscillation unveil promo for new single, Ceiling Poem, out in June

North Atlantic Oscillation return in June with Ceiling Poem, the second single to be taken from the debut album, Grappling Hooks. The track was described as ‘a gentle dreambeat that explodes into a technicolour psych-out’ by Classic Rock and by The Quietus as ‘inverted, unexpectedly Byrds-inflected folktronica’.

Kscope commissioned Stephen Ong, a young animator from Norwich to create an animated promo for the single, which you can see above.

Grappling Hooks, the debut album, was released earlier this year. The record immediately received rave reviews across the board, including being named Zane Lowe’s record of the week, and their first UK headline tour confirmed their status as one of the most exciting new bands to emerge in 2010.

“Super exciting new Rock n Roll for a new decade” Zane Lowe, BBC Radio One

“something a bit special” Classic Rock Prog

“Intriguing oddness from Scotland” Uncut
