Steven Wilson has announced additional UK headline dates for October 2013, following his hugely successful European tour which finishes this week.
After his recent Royal Festival Hall performance in London, Classic Rock declared, “musically majestic, loud but limber, Wilson and his band are currently killing it.” Terrorizer referred to the “very special performance” as “heaven”.
Steven and his accomplished band – Guthrie Govan (lead guitar), Nick Beggs (bass), Marco Minnemann (drums), Theo Travis (saxophone/flute), and Adam Holzman (keyboards) – will visit Bristol, Wolverhampton, and Newcastle and then round off the tour with a show at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Steven’s latest album, The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories), was released last month to tremendous acclaim and charted around the world. Chart hits included debuting at #3 in the German national chart, #28 in the UK top 40, #57 in the US Billboard top 200, #16 in Holland and #17 in Finland.

The release will feature the demo versions of two tracks from the The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories). These demo versions have never been available on vinyl before and will be pressed on a heavyweight (180g) picture disc. This release will be strictly limited and only available from independent record stores that participating in Record Store Day.
