This time, we concentrate on the new album from Nosound: Afterthoughts.
Nosound’s creative fulcrum Giancarlo Erra has been not only writing and arranging his best music so far: but has also been busy recruiting. Porcupine Tree fans will be interested to hear Chris Maitland on drums on this new Nosound album.
You’ll hear Billy Reeves’s interviews with both: Chris talks us through his love of glam rock, how to make half-time grooves sound faster, and how to smuggle double bass-drums into the orchestra pit of London’s biggest west end musicals, and Giancarlo takes us on a journey to Rome and back and explains how to find beauty in sadness, and sadness in beauty.
PLUS! A preview from Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) with Jonas Renkse (Katatonia)’s Wisdom of Crowds album. www.kscopemusic.com/wisdomofcrowds
