Nosound perform music for the first time from the 2016 album Scintilla live on Radio Rock FM (Rome), an old track from 2009’s album A Sense of Loss and a stunning cover of Radiohead’s “Pyramid Song”

The band’s newest album, Scintilla, was also honoured as the 6th best best prog album of 2016 by Popmatters, alongside influential names such as Opeth, Marillion, The Dear Hunter and Haken.

Live performances from the Nosound band are rare, which makes this a unique opportunity for fans to experience Scintilla come to life. The video below shows clips from the the interview and music from the band, but if Italian isn’t your first language the Soundcloud playlist showcases all of the live songs in full. Included are single “Sogno E Incendio”, “Evil Smile”, and”Fading Silently” (taken from 2009’s album A Sense of Loss). The set also features the band’s cover version of Radiohead’s stunning, but often missed “Pyramid Song”. The full set is an emotional journey into the mind of Nosound frontman Giancarlo Erra, and serves as a welcome addition to Scintilla, a cathartic album of emotional extremes that marked the brave beginning of the second phase of Nosound’s fascinating career.
